Conventions, congresses, trade fairs, exhibitions, concerts, balls – the Großer Saal is the very heart of the Kongresshaus Stadthalle Heidelberg. Sculptures, paintings and elaborate Jugendstil decoration create a magnificent ambiance for events of up to 1250 guests.
Taking pride of place is the peerless and fully restored Voit organ from 1903, when it was the model for organbuilders throughout Europe. Technical extras and a large stage provide a range of utilization options in the Großer Saal.
Flanked by the Stefan-George-Zimmer, the Gustav-Mahler-Zimmer, and the Meriansaal, which acts as a perfect location for the in-house catering, the Großer Saal is extremely flexible.
